Aloha Spirit Yoga

By definition of the Hawalian Spirit Law, “Aloha Spirit” is the coordination of mind and heart within each person. It brings each person to the self. Each person must think and emote good feelings to others. It means mutual regard and affection and extends warmth in caring with no obligation in return. —This IS beautiful!

Aloha Spirit Yoga is created with this intention —To connect our breath to our body and it’s movements, and introduce calmness to our brains, helping us go inward and connect to our hearts, and connect with nature and the people around us.

This season… There will be two classes offered during the week. A Tranquilo Tuesday and a Flow Friday, both held at 5:30pm at the Buena Onda Yoga Center. —To get there, as you drive into town on Veracruz, hang a left at the BIG perota tree near the fish market, you will pass Hotel Sands and it will be located on the right side.

Tranquilo Tuesday will be very gentle. Perfect class for beginners and/or people who want a relaxing class. All our poses will be held low on the mat, meaning no down dogs, warrior poses, etc. We will often use props. And… music will be very mellow.

Flow Friday will be a more active class. —Meant for more intermediate level. Not hard-core, but more challenging and will get your heartbeat up. This class we will flow from being on the mat to standing and back down on the mat. We will also often use props during class. And… music might get a bit more fun.

First class of the season will be held on Tuesday, November 21st at 5:30pm.

—It and all classes will be one hour long. *Please… try to arrive at least 10 minutes early. Also, the drop-in rate is $120 pesos, or you may also buy a package of 10 classes for $1,000 pesos. Bring your own mat if you got one. —We’ve got props.

Hope to see you all there
